Student Volunteers
The SPLASH Student Volunteers get the opportunity to work with the SPLASH organizing committees and other students around the world and be a part of this premier event. Student volunteers play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the conference events by performing several crucial tasks such as: assisting with registration, providing information about the conference to attendees, assisting session organizers, monitoring sessions, managing videos from participants, maintaining Slack channels for the event, etc. In return for their efforts, student volunteers receive:
- Access to all workshops, tutorials and the main conference.
- Daily lunches and coffee breaks.
- Access to all social events.

Programming Languages Mentoring Workshop
The SPLASH Programming Languages Mentoring Workshop provides mentoring sessions on how to prepare for and thrive in graduate school and in a research career, focusing both on cutting-edge research topics and practical advice. It aims to show students the many paths that they might take to enter and contribute to our research community.
PLMW@SPLASH generally offers scholarships funds to cover some of the expenses (airfare, hotel, and registration fees) for attending the workshop.

Student Research Competition
The ACM Student Research Competition is an event where undergraduate and graduate students present their original research before a panel of judges and conference attendees. ACM and our industrial partners provide financial support for students attending the SRC.
