Coccinelle is a program matching and transformation tool for C code that was first developed in the mid 2000s. Coccinelle has been extensively used on the Linux kernel, in over 9000 commits, as well as on other C projects. In this talk, we will present some recent uses of Coccinelle and discuss some of the design decisions that makes these results possible.
